Chris Rock’s Late Night Comedy Gets Premiere Date

May 14, 2012

In March, word got out that FX had closed a deal for a late night show produced by Chris Rock. As of last week, more details have been released about the show. According to LaughSpin, the show, titled Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, will premiere on Thursday, August 9 at 11 PM EST.

Totally Biased will star Bell, who has been called “one of the fastest rising socio-political comics in the United States”. He will bring in other contributors to share commentary and sketch comedy that dissects topics such as politics, pop culture, race, religion and the media.

Six half-hour installments of the weekly show will be shot in Brooklyn and executive produced by Chris Rock, Bell, and Chuck Sklar (who previously worked with Rock on The Chris Rock Show, and Everybody Hates Chris).

Although there’s still a few months to go ’till the premiere, we’re definitely excited to have a set date to look forward to!
